Winter invites us inward. It is the season of stillness, restoration, and inward reflection. A time to slow down enough to listen, to strengthen our roots, and to reconnect to the practices that sustain us. This retreat is designed as an immersive experience in rest, embodiment, and seasonal renewal.
Held at Beyul, this experience offers space to retreat from constant stimulation and connect within and with others in community. Expect grounding movement + breath practices, experiential Katonah Yoga theory, ample space for deep rest, and the joy of community.
We will explore the intelligence of Winter through the lens of the body, nature, and imagination. Our practices will weave together sacred geometry, metaphor, maps of the body, seasonal wisdom, and nervous system regulation to help you cultivate resilience, steadiness, and spaciousness. Rather than pushing outward, winter teaches us how to conserve energy, soften, and restore our inner resources.

Our lodging is a collection of historic, hand-built, and eclectic cabins and lodges. Rooms & beds in the same tier will vary in size and layout, but all are charming spaces.
Beyul Retreat is 32 pristine acres surrounded by National Forest, with 1700 feet of Frying Pan river frontage, as well as a lush network of ponds, creeks, and waterfalls among the trails on the property. Hike straight onto National Forest without getting in your car, and nearby you’ll find seasonal adventures like rock climbing, horseback riding, & stand-up paddleboarding.
Amenities at Beyul include the hot tub, sauna, cold plunge, river access, hiking trails, and more!
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations will be accepted without charges as long as you cancel 1 month in advance of your arrival date (November 9th, 2026) If you cancel less than 1 month before your arrival date, you will be charged for your full reservation. If refund is due in case of cancellation, funds will be returned less processing fees within 1 month of cancellation.
We recommend that you consider purchasing Travel Insurance. Travel insurance companies like Travel Guard and Trawick offer policies that insure your investment in case you need to cancel (including “cancel for any reason” coverages), coverages for expenses incurred due to weather & travel delays, personal property loss, and emergency travel medical. Please review policies carefully to choose the range you need.
